Hola Familia!

It looks like you guys have had quite an amazing and eventful week! Full of Youth Conference and other awesome stuff! I hope everyone had a great time at Youth Conference and that they paid attention to what the Speakers had to say.

So we've had an amazing week also! The family that we have been working with finally got married and baptized! The wedding was beautiful, El Parque de las Aguas is extremely beautiful. The Couple was very happy that they got to have a wedding as beautiful as it was! Hopefully I'll put up photos today or tomorrow! The following day the family, members of the ward, and us gathered together in the Chapel for their Baptisms. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. It is something very sacred to me and in a year I'll probably share it with you guys, but if I wrote it on here it wouldn't do it justice. So I'll tell you guys about it in a year!
I'm so happy that the Lord gave us the opportunity to meet and help this family. To help them get to know their Savior and to make covenants with him. It is a miracle that this family got married and baptized. Our Heavenly Father is a God of miracles and if we have sufficient faith he can work miracles in our lives! (see Ether 12:12) If we have faith, we have to be willing to show it by making changes and repenting of the things that we have done wrong and asking the lord for forgiveness. (See Alma 34:17)

So during this transfer I have really gained a testimony about keeping the commandments. By keeping all of the commandments that the Lord gives us, we Will Be Happy. God doesn't give us commandments to put restrictions on our lives and to make our lives boring. It is the Opposite! Sometimes we ask ourselves why God wants us to do certain things or not do certain things and we try to make judgement about why he gave us a certain commandment. There is something very important that the prophet Nephi teaches us. (Im going to write the Scripture in Spanish and translate it literally so that you guys can understand it.) it says,

"Dios no hace nada a menos que sea para el beneficio del mundo; porque el ama al mundo, al grado de dar su propia vida para traer a todos los hombres a el. Por tanto, a nadie manda el que no participe de su salvacion" - 2nd Nephi 26:24

Literally it says " God doesn't do anything unless it is for the benefit of the world, because he loves the world, to the degree of giving his own life for the world in order to bring all men to him. Wherefore, to none he commands to NOT participate in his salvation" That's what it says translated literally.

God has done everything, does everything, and will do everything according to his wisdom. (see 2 Nephi 2:24) Sometimes we don't understand why a commandment is the way it is, but it doesn't matter, Our Heavenly Father already knows why, and it's for our benefit. I promise you guys that by keeping the commandments of God You Will Be Happy.

Well I hope you guys have a great week this week! I know I will!
Be safe and remember to do the things you should do!
Love you guys!

Hola Familia!

So it seems like you guys have had quite a great, but busy week! I hope you guys enjoyed the camps you went to and that you learned a lot! I had a pretty busy week too!

We've been waiting for the birth certificates of the family that are going to get married and baptized, annnnnnnnnnnd THEY CAME! Monday night we received a call from the offices that they arrived and we needed to go to Comas, (The other side of the mission) to pick them up and get some other stuff, so that they could get married! So we rushed and got on the bus that took us to Comas. The next day we went to the center of Lima and registered our family to get married in El Parque de la Aguas! We're really excited! We also met a new investigator that wants to get baptized! He's 20, his brother is less active, but he wants to come back to church too! The Lord really does bless us with work, IF we work. We have to demonstrate our willingness to follow the rules of the mission and obey the commandments, so that he can bless us with ALL that we need. Without God we wouldn't be able to do anything!

We have baptisms this week! The family is going to get married and baptized! I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity that I have to help them feel the spirit and be converted by it!

I'm gonna record a video, and TRY to upload it for Carter. No promises, but I will record something!

So that's about it! I'm not sick and I Love the mission!

Love you guys a lot!

Hola Familia!

We had an excellent week! During the past week I really gained a true testimony that by demonstrating faith we can show the Lord that we want the blessings of happiness, that only He can give!
During the last week we demonstrated faith by fasting and praying for some challenges that we were facing here in Las Galeras. With the fasting and praying that we did, one of our Investigators got baptized!!!!!!!!! Also, there is more hope about the birth certificates of the family we are going to help get married so that they can get baptized! The Lord wants to bless us with tons of blessing, He is OUR Heavenly Father, and He wants the best for all of us. Sometimes we just need to show our part. By showing the faith that we have the Lord can bless us with the blessings we want! By fasting and praying we can do that!

We also had another baptism last Saturday! It was so awesome! The spirit was there and it was really great! I'm out of time to write. I hope you guys are okay and that you have a great week! Our investigators are doing okay and we have a few more that are going to get baptized this month!

Love you guys!

That's so awesome that you guys have had a great week! I didn't get transfered so I'm going to complete 4 transfers here in Las Galeras! That's almost half a year! Haha! How crazy is that!

During this last week we have really seen the Lords' hand in our work! We completely overpassed the goals of the mission and found tons of new people to teach and now have even more baptismal dates! The people here are so great! They always listen to us, but a lot of the time they don't do the things we invite them to do! We saw lots of success this week! We're going to see a lot of success in June and July! The lord really helps us when we are obedient to the commandments that he gives us! I know a lot of people think that religion puts restrictions on us and that keeps us from being free. I have seen in the mission how that is completely false! Read John 8:31-32. The Truth really will make us free! I promise you guys that if you do the things that the Lord asks us to do, you will be Happy. Seras felices!

Well I hope that you guys have a great week! I know I will! I love the mission! It's awesome! I found 2 huge pigs and their babies on one of the hills here! I have photos! I'll upload them!

Love you guys lots!

Bueno, um no tengo excusa por no escribirles en Sábado.... lo que paso es que estaba mirando los vídeos nuevos de la Biblia yyyyyyyy bueno, son muy cheveres. Entonces no tuve tiempo para escribir! Discúlpeme!

Hola Familia!

Everything is really good here in Las Galeras! I'm 20 now! Ha! I left the teens! I kinda feel different, but not too different!  A lot has happened and I'm gonna try to tell you guys everything! Oh, today is transfer day! So I'll let you guys know if I'm somewhere else next week!

Our investigators are doing well! They're progressing really well and we now finally have a date to marry the family that needs to get married! 26th of June! It's gonna be awesome! The wedding is going to be in the Parque de las Aguas, in Lima!  I'm really excited to see this family take the steps necessary to progress. Our other family is okay. They are passing through some problems right now. Satan works hard! However, the gospel of Jesus Christ works way harder than Satan IF we do the things he wants us to! do (Read, Pray, and Go to Church!) We also have a few other investigators that are new and starting to progress! We had 15 investigators in church yesterday! Thats a Mission record! Wow! The lord is truly blessing us with people to teach!!

Okay, well I'm out of time!

Love you guys a ton!
